Understanding your skin type can not only help you avoid issues like sun damage and pigmentation, but is also provides great insights as to which skin care treatments are best for you. We can better predict how your skin will react to different treatments such as lasers, chemical peels, and even spray tans! While this provides a baseline, there are always other determining factors that can impact your results.
0-6
Type I – White skin color, blonde hair, and green eyes, always burns in the sun, has freckles.
Examples: Red hair with freckles, porcelain or pink skin. May be of English, Scottish, Irish decent.
